Everybody loves free stuff, right?
I've been writing Tabletop RPG content for, well.... "quite a while". Some of it gets updated, expanded upon and used over and over again, some of it only gets used the once for one-shot game sessions. Regardless of the fate of these gaming projects, I keep a copy of all the non-commercial ones for various reasons from nostalgia to going back to later to re-design.
While the main reason for setting up this website is to promote and communicate about future commercial releases such as Moralinth or Rapscallion Journals, it is also a central repository for my previous works or will be, once it is complete. As time goes on I will add more of my previous work (that was not intended for commercial release) here and thereby create an archive of sorts.
With a link added to the front page of the site, anyone visiting can follow the Free Archives link to these products which are totally free for anyone to download and use for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Sharing games with gamers, as it were.
These products cover many different systems from D&D to Cypher to my own personal homebrew system(s) and everything in-between.
They'll be released in no particular order, but with each item added to the Free Archives a blog will accompany it explaining roughly what it is, which game system it is for and any specific notes about the product.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO HEED THE INSTRUCTIONS OF USE FOUND ON THE FREE ARCHIVES PAGE
All of these products are and always will be, free for personal use - so get downloading!
With the above in mind, lets have a look at what products are launching with the grand opening of the Free Archives:
STARFINDER: FINGEWORLDS
Game System:

Product Type: Campaign Setting re-work
About Starfinder: Fringeworlds: Starfinder Fringeworlds came about when my group and I were dissatisfied with the original canon lore for the Starfinder Roleplaying Game by Paizo Inc. To us it just felt like a strange decision to have the entire planet of Golarion (the world where Paizo's flagship fantasy RPG Pathfinder was set) simply "vanish".
Fringeworlds represents an alternative timeline where Golarion did not vanish but instead went on to become the founding planet of a galactic-wide spanning government known as The Mataras Alliance.
In addition the game was set on the fringes of civilised space giving it more of a frontier feel akin to the likes of Firefly or Cowboy BeBop.
Most changes are thematic, but it does include many new starships, planets, new rules and the Pureblood Azlanti as a playable race.
Notes:
Art: Like all products in the Free Archives, almost all artwork in Starfinder: Fringeworlds is internet-sourced and the property of their respective owners. Roguelike Games holds no rights to this artwork which was intended for personal use only.
About the planet "Emiharm": Emiharm is a planet that exists in the Starjammer RPG and some of the text and the general information on that planet were copied almost wholesale due to last moment time constraints. You can read about Starjammer here.

FRINGEWORLDS: 'DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS & BIG DAMN HEROES'
Game System:

Product Type: Adventure
About Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & Big Damn Heroes: The introductory adventure used to test out the Starfinder: Fringeworlds alternate campaign setting for Starfinder. Designed with 4 to 5 level three characters in mind, The group are hired by a representative of Transdyne Foundation to find an ex-employee and bring him back for questioning after he vanishes with research information. This soon spirals out of control as the group are pulled into all manner of underhanded goings-on and a case not as straight-forward as originally pitched.
Notes:
Art: Like all products in the Free Archives, almost all artwork in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & Big Damn Heroes is internet-sourced and the property of their respective owners. Roguelike Games holds no rights to this artwork which was intended for personal use only.
Two-Thirds Complete: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & Big Damn Heroes is the first part of a larger Adventure Path for Starfinder: Fringeworlds entitled "Into The Black". This first adventure is incomplete, with only 2 out of the 3 parts written. A GM wishing to use it will need to conclude the adventure in a manner they see fit, but following that they will have the beginnings of an interesting Adventure Path for their players to experience.

Hopefully your first foray into the Free Archives will be a fun one, and you're welcome to download and use the products above around your gaming table. Keep what you like, change what you don't, but please remember these products are not for commercial use.
Check back often for more free goodies as the archives are added to!
Until then,
Happy Gaming!
